AMERIAN/MEMLEKETIAN FAMILY TREE UPDATE FORM

Dear Family Member:

Over 15 years has passed since we all got together for our family reunion, and compiled our family tree material.  A lot has happened in our extended family in that time, and despite our best efforts to keep up to date on the changes, obviously a lot of information has “fallen through the cracks”.

With that in mind, we are embarking on an extensive update of our entire family tree, including updating the database of information, updating the family tree website we maintain (which you can find on the Web at www.amerianfamily.com), and publishing a new family tree hardcover and/or soft cover book (15 years has seen a vast change in technology, and this time the book will be much more professional looking and hopefully not too expensive).  But we can’t do it without everyone’s help! 

First – You can locate your branch of the tree by going to the link and using the links following the Amirian, Memleketian or Kasarjian lines to find your surname and look at what information we have (for those of us who can track our lineage to all three lines, the information will be the same). 

Second – Once you’ve reviewed the information, please get together with those in your immediate family, and provide us with the following information on each member of your lineal family.  If you see anything on the posted family tree that is inaccurate or out of date, please be sure to let us know, including, if someone in your family is deceased, including dates of death.  Or if there are children, grandchildren, etc. we have missed, give us birth dates.  Please make sure you cover everyone in your lineal family, and let them know we are working on this update.

Information we can use or fix includes:

1.  Name

2.  Birthday (Month, Date, Year)

3.  Spouse(s), date of marriage (and divorce if applicable)

4.  Children including complete birth dates

5.  Children’s’ spouse and date of marriage

6.  Children’s children and complete birthdates

7.  Dates of death of anyone in your direct family line

8.  Notable events and accomplishments in your family

We would also like to create a new directory.  Please provide us with addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses for each member of your family.  Finally, please designate one person in your lineal family to be the key contact person whom we can contact regarding this project, and a possibly future family reunion.

Finally – if anyone has photographs, historic family stories, or other family related material you’d like posted at the website or included in a future book, please don’t hesitate to scan and email them to Brian at bhkrik@onlymyemail.com.We still have many photos from the original book that have been scanned.  A lot of those photos will be eventually put up at the web site and in the book, unless people have objections.  Also feel free to send Brian any family histories, anecdotes, etc. you would like included.

Please email any updates to the family tree to Brian at the email listed above.  You can write out the changes, or make a copy of the family tree online and make your changes on that copy.  Then, email or fax the changes to Brian at 425-732-0115.

We look forward to hearing from you.  We’d like to get as much information as possible within the next 60 days, so that we can try to finish updating this project and hopefully have a book available before the end of the year.
